  • The cost of your experience starts at $70+  per person and varies based on the products you choose and how many you choose. Expressive Aromas offers perfumes, colognes, soaps, lotions, room fragrance and more. Find Product Pricing here

  • Our custom fragrance workshop lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours. At Expressive Aromas, we believe creating your signature scent shouldn’t be rushed. We take our time so you can explore and experiment.

  • Walk-ins are always welcome, with appointments recommended. If you’re visiting with a group, booking ahead reduces the risk of waiting and helps the team prepare seats and materials.

  • We believe in helping you create a signature scent. You can choose from our variety of products, we have perfumes, colognes, soaps, lotions, body butter, room mists, candles and much more. Find our entire product listing here Products

    Any of our products can pair with your signature scent: roller fragrance(10mL), body butter (5oz), goat milk body lotion (8oz), whipped soap (8oz), reed diffuser, room mist , car fragrance, fragrance drops (15mL and 120mL), coconut soy wax candle (10oz), shimmering body oil (50mL), beard oil (60mL), and fragrance spray (Eau de Parfum in 30mL & 50mL)

  • Not difficult at all! If you have a nose, you can do this. Scent is personal, what one person loves may be completely different from someone else. Our Scent Experts guide you every step of the way, so all you need to bring is an open mind and a willingness to explore.

  • If the scent you created during your workshop isn’t quite what you expected, please note that we’re unable to accept returns since every fragrance is custom made and cannot be resold or reused for safety and quality reasons. That said, we’re happy to help refine it. Within 14 days of your visit, simply bring back your creation and our team will work with you to adjust the formulation. Fragrance Making Experience

  • Cologne making for men, we got you! Our experience is gender agnostic and you can make a perfume or a cologne from the same set of fragrance accords.

  • We usually have water and non alcoholic drinks available. You’re also welcome to bring your own beverages and finger foods (BYOB). Please arrive 5–10 minutes early if you need time to set up.

    You’ll be able to snack while we’re mixing your products, and once your signature scent is finalized, you’ll have an additional 15–30 minutes to eat or cut a cake if you’re celebrating. We want you to feel comfortable and have the most fun during this interactive experience!

  • Ages 10 and up would enjoy the experience and will need their separate seat reserved. Ages 10 and under can create their scent and pay for only the products purchased. Participants must be at least 21 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages.

  • While our scent experts are there to help you guide through the fragrance making process and help where necessary, this is your nose and your scent. PAY ATTENTION during the experience and you will walk out smelling amazing.

  • We are not a perfumery school. You can come to us to create a unique scent, know the exact ingredients that go in your fragrance (unlike designer brands that list notes for just marketing), have fun and smell INCREDIBLE!

  • Expressive Aromas’ offers a “Signature Scent Quiz”, a quick (2‑minute) quiz to find your scent personality before an event and learn more about single notes. The quiz is not required, but recommended to help you pick a starting point. Even if you skip the quiz, you can still access and smell the available notes during the experience.

  • One of the most common mistakes is finding your fragrance online and mixing the notes listed from there. Do you want to duplicate what you already have or create something no one else has?

Booking & Pricing

  • Email us at info@expressivearomas.com  or call (972)-369-7223. If your request is time-sensitive (late arrival, reschedule, missing tracking email), include key details: your name, order/booking info, and what outcome you want.

  • Traffic can be crazy, but be mindful of other guests' time. We allow a 10 min grace period and will promptly start the class 10 minutes after the class time. If you’re late, be prepared to catch up real quick to flow with the rest of the group.

  • You can reschedule online up to 24 hours before the experience, to reschedule or cancel past the 24 hour time frame, email info@expressivearomas.com

  • Yes, our McKinney studio can accommodate up to 26 participants and is open to the public.

  • This is a paid experience, we do not allow visitors during the activity.

  • Yes you can email info@expressivearomas.com to book a private experience for your group of 8+

  • We offer in-studio experiences (booked seats, 1.5–2 hours), in-studio parties with a dedicated group space, and mobile options that bring a fragrance bar or workshop to your venue. For corporate and social events, we bring the full setup, scent experts guiding guests, and take-home creations.

  • Yes. We offer private label manufacturing for businesses expanding into scent-based products, including launching a signature scent or adding fragrance to an existing offering.

Mobile Experiences

  • This is where we come to your office, conference rooms, restaurant or any other location and have your guests experience bespoke fragrance making. Minimum group size of 25+

  • Yes. We offer corporate/social events, an off-site custom fragrance experience where the team brings the full setup and guides guests through creating custom fragrances.

  • Mobile fragrance experiences can be hosted at conference centers, restaurants, corporate venues, weddings, or private event spaces. Expressive Aromas travels to your location and sets up the full fragrance bar so guests can enjoy a hands-on scent-making activity.

  • Mobile fragrance bars are popular for corporate events, weddings, bridal showers, birthday parties, team-building activities, and brand activations. The interactive fragrance-making experience gives guests a memorable activity and a personalized fragrance to take home.

  • Mobile fragrance experiences typically require a minimum group of 25+ size for booking. Larger events may include multiple fragrance bars and scent experts depending on the number of guests attending

  • During the experience, guests are guided through selecting fragrance notes and blending their own custom scent. Each guest leaves with their own personalized fragrance as a unique keepsake from the event.

  • Yes. Expressive Aromas scent experts guide guests step-by-step through the fragrance-making process, helping them explore fragrance notes and blend their own signature scent.

The Products

  • Yes, our  roller perfume is an oil-based roll-on. The roller perfume has ingredients as coconut oil and fragrance oil.

  • Yes. Expressive Aromas products are free from phthalates, parabens, sulfates, formaldehyde, and petrochemicals. If you have specific ingredient restrictions or allergies, use the ingredient lists shown here. Products. Contact us at info@expressivearomas.com for any additional questions.

  • The Signature Scent Club is an annual membership priced at $30 for the entire year. After your first workshop, you can create a new custom fragrance up to four times a year; the membership covers the workshop cost, and you pay for the product you purchase. This is effectively a “seasonal refresh” program for customers who like evolving their signature scent.

  • Oh no! Just let us know when booking and we will provide essential oil alternatives. But if you use Bath & Body Works hand soap in your home you will be just fine…

  • Less is better. Expressive Aromas utilizes only the single notes from aromatics that are available in nature. It is this ease and simplicity of use that make our scents ideal.

  • The roller perfume is a 10mL travel-size roll-on. Eau de Parfum is sold in two sizes, 30 mL and 50 mL bottles. (1 oz and 1.7 oz)

Custom Scents & Orders

  • Yes. Even if you no longer live near Expressive, you can still reorder your custom fragrance and have it shipped directly to you.

  • If you’ve previously created a custom fragrance at Expressive Aromas, your formula is saved in our system. This allows you to easily reorder your custom fragrance or signature scent whenever you’d like without needing to recreate it.

  • No. Because your fragrance formula is saved, you can reorder your custom fragrance without returning to the studio. This makes it easy to restock your signature scent anytime.

  • The Shipping & Return Policy states that orders ship between 2–3 business days after placing the order and that a tracking number is emailed upon shipping. If you’re buying for a deadline (gift, trip, event), place your order early and watch for the tracking email.

  • Yes. Seasonal fragrances highlighted throughout the year can still be reordered after the season ends, allowing guests to continue enjoying their favorite scents.

  • Yes. Many guests choose to order multiple bottles of their custom fragrance so they can keep one at home, at work, or give them as gifts.

  • You are able to pick any of the blends you created previously at Expressive Aromas to reorder, If you’d like to change your notes, you can schedule another custom fragrance experience at Expressive Aromas to modify your existing formula or create a new variation.

  • We’re built around custom fragrance, once a scent is created you can add it to many products of your choice.   • The Shipping & Return Policy explains that returns aren’t accepted because each fragrance is uniquely crafted, and for safety/quality reasons it can’t be resold or reused. Instead of returns, the policy offers a “custom fragrance adjustments” process: within 14 days of receiving your fragrance, you can share specific feedback, and the team will work with you to adjust the formulation.

  • The Shipping & Return Policy outlines the adjustment steps: contact the team within 14 days of receiving your fragrance, describe what you want adjusted, and a “scent expert” will refine your formula.
